There’s no right and wrong settings to use, it’s all down to your individual

taste. The tone controls have a wide coverage so dialling in tones you like

should be easy. If it sounds good, go with it.

CONNECTIONS:

Listed below are some of the standard ways in which you may want to

hook up your VB-800.

Standard: Guitar g Wah g OD g High Gain input of VB-800. FX Send g

Delay input g Delay output to VB-800 FX return. VB-800 speaker outs g

Cab (remember to use FX send level to control the level to your pedals)

Tube Buffer: Guitar g Low Gain input of VB-800 (gain level set low) g

VB-800 FX Send g Input of Modeller or FX loop of modeller

4CM: (4 Cable Method): Guitar g Main input of modeller/Multi FX g

Modeller FX loop send g Input of VB-800 (low or high to taste) g VB-

800 FX Send g Modeller FX Loop Return g Modeller main Out g VB-

800 FX Return. VB-800 Speaker Outs g Cab

Recording: Guitar g Fx (Wah, OD etc) g VB-800 FX send gDAW.

Use cab sim software either in your DAW or before your DAW. (Remember

to use the FX send level to control the signal to your DAW)

inducing stompoxes before the VB-800s preamp

and time based effects in the VB-800s loop via

the modeller/multi FXs loop.
